Upon arrival, deputies located the victim, who had a domestic relation to the suspect, with several stab wounds deceased in the garage. After the stabbing, the suspect, Lukas Carlton (DOB: 10/02/2001), fled the scene. Due to the nature of the investigation, members of the Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation.Detectives immediately began investigating, canvassing the neighborhood, reviewing surveillance, and combing through evidence. Through investigative measures, LCSO detectives worked through the night, quickly locating the suspect in Hillsborough County. The Florida Highway Patrol conducted a traffic stop on Carlton in Pasco County and he was taken into custody on an out of county warrant.
