Two Arrested for Narcotics Sales

“The men and women of our narcotics unit work hard each and every day to identify dangerous drug dealers and take them off the streets,” stated Sheriff Carmine Marceno. “We will keep paradise safe.”

On December 18, 2020, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, the Community Response Unit, the Fort Myers Police Department and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force wrapped up a 10-month investigation into a group involved in illegal narcotics and street violence.
Deputies made contact with two individuals who were wanted for the sale of illegal narcotics.

Mark Slowey (DOB 2/17/66) was arrested and charged with one count sale of Cocaine and Fentanyl and one count of intent to sell Cocaine and Fentanyl.
Dantae Cason (DOB 12/31/02) was arrested and charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell Cocaine and Fentanyl and two counts of sale of Cocaine and Fentanyl.

Due to the dedication of both the narcotics unit and CRU, both were booked into the Lee County Jail without incident.
