Major Travis Hicks
A native Floridian, Major Travis Hicks moved to Lee County as a teenager and graduated from Fort Myers High School in 1995. He earned an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership.
Beginning his LCSO career in 2001, Major Hicks has worked in many different areas within the agency, including Corrections, Road Patrol, Bonita Community Policing, Criminal Investigations Bureau, Major Crimes Unit, and the Internal Affairs Unit. He serves as the Safety Committee Chairman and carries a dual certification in both Corrections and Law Enforcement
Currently, Major Hicks oversees LCSO’s Internal Affairs Unit.
He is a father to four wonderful children, is a renowned DJ, enjoys music and spending time with family and friends.
