Online registrations are still being accepted for this Saturday’s presentation of “A Citizen’s Response to Active Shooter and Mass Casualty Events” presented by the Lee County Sheriff's Office, the Lee County Department of Public Safety and the Lee County Trauma District. Don’t miss this extremely critical community presentation on Saturday, June 16th at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, 13350 FSW Parkway in Fort Myers, from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Doors open at 8:00 am. Highly trained law enforcement experts and public safety officials will discuss:
- How to respond, assess, protect, and identify defenses during the chaos of an active shooter or mass casualty event,
- How to perform lifesaving techniques to Stop the Bleed before emergency responders arrive,
- A Q & A panel discussion with representatives from the Sheriff’s Office, EMS, and Lee Health Trauma.
No firearms are allowed and all bags are subject to search.
