Armed Robbery Investigation in North Fort Myers UPDATE #1
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit and patrol deputies worked around the clock to piece together events surrounding yesterday’s armed robbery.
After countless hours of examining physical evidence and interviewing witnesses, detectives determined three male suspects were involved in the botched robbery. The armed suspects entered the business and confronted the victims. Fearing for their lives, one of the victims shot the suspect who was transported to an area hospital, where he continues to receive treatment.
Joshua Tatlock (DOB 7/18/1986) and Killian Irberseder (DOB 7/28/2000) fled in a vehicle and were located and detained by alert deputies shortly after the call was received. Through investigation, detectives linked Tatlock and Irberseder to the robbery and they were arrested without incident. Both are charged with armed burglary of an occupied structure and aggravated assault.
At this time, detectives are not seeking any additional suspects, however, the investigation remains active. Any updates will be provided in the form of a press release.

On Saturday, February 9, 2019, at approximately 2:22 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to 560 Pine Island Road, North Fort Myers, reference an armed robbery that resulted in a shooting.
Due to the nature of the incident, Major Crimes Unit detectives responded to the scene and have assumed the investigation.
This was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
The investigation remains active. All other updates will be provided via press release.
