LCSO seeking community assistance to identify deceased male

On July 8, 2018 at approximately 8:00AM, the Lee County Sheriff's Office received a call for service indicating that a deceased individual was floating in the water near Matanzas Pass.
 
Major Crimes Unit detectives were dispatched and assumed the investigation.  Detectives have indicated that the death does not appear to be suspicious.
 
Efforts to identify the person have been unsuccessful. Attached is a sketch of a white male, believed to be approximately 50 years of age, weighing approximately 265 pounds and 5’5” in height.
 
The unidentified male has brown or hazel colored eyes.  When discovered, the subject was wearing a grey/black/red bathing suit, a grey t-shirt and red/black/white Nike sneakers.
