Sheriff’s Youth Activities League Scores A Bulls-Eye

Children in Lehigh and Fort Myers are encouraged to come out and try their hand at archery with the Sheriff’s Youth Activities League.

This Basic Archery Class will be modeled after the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) and it will cover everything needed to start shooting a bow. Basic Archery will help improve your child’s attention, behavior and focus.

The Lehigh Acres sessions start on April 2nd and are located at the Lodge by the lake in Veteran’s Park. The sessions run for 12 weeks and cost $35 per session. The sessions take place on Wednesday’s from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and are for children ages 6-17. To register, contact the Lee County Parks and Recreation Department at (239) 369-1521. The Fort Myers sessions start on April 8th and are located at Tanglewood Elementary School at 1620 Manchester Boulevard, Fort Myers. The sessions run for 10 weeks and cost $35 for YMCA Members and $55 for Non-YMCA Members. The sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for children ages 7-17.
