Sheriff's Office Hosts Job Fair

The recruitment drive takes place at the Sheriff's Office headquarters at 14750 Ben C. Pratt Six-Mile Cypress Parkway in Fort Myers.  In addition to learning about the job opportunities, there will be many specialty units of the agency displaying their equipment, answering questions and performing demonstrations to include: the Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit, S.W.A.T. Van and Bearcat, C.E.R.T. (Corrections Emergency Response Team), Hostage Negotiation Team. Bomb Squad, Waterborne Strike Team and vessel, Traffic Enforcement  motorcycle and patrol car, the Mobile Communications and Command Center, Public Services Division information and more.

A special emphasis is devoted for job seekers interested in becoming Corrections Officers which could include agency sponsored opportunities.  Personnel from our Human Resources Division will be on-hand to answer questions, as well as expedite the application process by conducting an applicant pre-screen to see if you qualify.
