Bank Robbery in North Fort Myers

On Friday, August 30, 2013 at approximately 10:02 am, deputies with the Lee County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the Regions Bank, 13520 N. Cleveland Avenue, North Fort Myers, in reference to a bank robbery. Due to the nature of the incident, detectives with the Lee County Sheriff's Office Robbery Unit were assigned to continue the investigation. Witnesses say a white female entered the bank wearing a denim color jean, dark long sleeve shirt with a denim hat and demanded cash. The teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported during the robbery.
