Lee County Rocks Special Olympics Florida

Thank you Southwest Florida residents and visitors for your support of our annual Tip-a-Cop event to benefit Special Olympics Florida at the Texas Roadhouse on Monday and Tuesday. Hundreds of you joined together with members of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, local first responders and some very special athletes to raise over $8,000 to help support this organization’s year-round sports, health and fitness programs for athletes of all abilities.

Did you miss Tip-a-Cop but want to show your support for Special Olympics Florida?  You’re invited to grab your clubs and come out swinging on Saturday, May 4 as part of the Sheriff’s Office 3rd Annual Lee County Law Enforcement Golf Tournament.           A shotgun start is scheduled for 8am at the Myerlee Country Club located at 1380 Myerlee Country Club Boulevard in Fort Myers. For more information about how you can enter this tournament or  provide raffle items, contact Mike Calbot at MCalbot@sheriffleefl.org.

See you on the links on May 4th!

If you would like to make a general donation, simply make your check payable to Special Olympics Florida and mail it to: Lee County Sheriff's Office – Community Relations (Special Olympics) 14750 Six Mile Cypress Pkwy Ft. Myers, FL 33912.
